“STARS 2” - astrus*

MUSIC VIDEO TREATMENT

the following scenes will be sequenced in the order in which they’re listed but will be intercut together THROUGHOUT the video as needed.

car scene (night):

• astrus wakes up in the back of a car - he’s being driven home after a long night out.

• He goes through the motions of the song as he looks out at the street lights passing by the car window.

• He performs the song as he’s slouched in the backseat - we’ll light his face with an animated led light to help simulate the lights moving. A car mount will hold the camera steady to the car to minimize camera shake.

• We’ll be driving through the Woodwall Rodgers Freeway tunnel under Klyde Warren Park - which can get tricky to keep circling around for multiple takes but we will devise a plan to make it happen.d

STAR SCENE (night):

• astrus walks towards an illuminating screen.

• STARS ANIMATE ON THE SCREEN AS HE APPROACHES.

• He looks up at all the staRS AND THEN REACHES OUT TO TOUCH THEM ON THE SCREEN.

• performance, looking DIRECTLY up at the stars.

• performance, SILHOUETTED by the stars.

• performance, high energy looking directly into camera.d

DOUBLE EXPOSURE SCENE (IN STUDIO):

• stars are being layered on SILHOUETTEs of his face, hands, etc.

• PERFORMANCE SHOT.

• The final shot will be a close up of his face, blowing away into stardust.
